Ichigo-Ichie
I'm a Japanese woman living in Nara. This blog tells you how to be a "YAMATONADESHIKO". "Yamatonadeshiko" means an ideal Japanese lady who is intelligent, sophisticated and thoughtful. I learn Sado-Japanese traditional tea celemony and Ikebana-Japanese traditional flower arrangement. I introduce about Japan through my experiences. So you can get to know more about Japanese culture such as Sado,Ikebana, customs and seasonal events, especially the ones in Nara.

At the Hawaiian Concert
We have the Hawaiian concert in my Cafe.
Most costumers of the concert enjoyed dancing Hula.
I also danced Hula with my friends of Hula school.
The song that we danced is "Waika".
This song is very beautiful slow song.
I leave the Hula school that I was taught, so I can't dance Hula that I learn at that school.
But I want to enjoy Hula in my style!!

Ikebana Art "giboshi"
Giboshi is the flower of summer in Japan.
And in the Mishou-style Ikebana, it is arranged as a traditional Mishou-style.
At this time I use 5flowers and 11leaves.
Most important thing is chosing leaf and its combination.
Of course, the length of flower and leaf, the balance, the position and the angle are also important.
